Rush Poker
A new poker game type at Full Tilt Poker is called Rush Poker for good reason. By playing Rush Poker online, you will face off against a very large pool of players and be matched against a new table of opponents during each hand. The moment that you fold your current hand, you will be moved to another table to nearly eliminate down time during each hand. With such a fast paced game, it is important to have a basic understanding of the new poker format at Full Tilt Poker and its crucial features.
Understanding the Quick Fold Button in Rush Poker
One of Full Tilt Poker’s newest Rush Poker features is the “Quick Fold” option. At any time during a hand, you may fold and move on to another table. In other words, you do not have to wait until your turn to fold. However, the rest of the table will not be able to detect that you have folded your Rush Poker hand until it is actually your turn.
By that time, you will already be playing another hand of Rush Poker. The only time that you may not use the “Quick Fold” feature is when you already have money committed to the pot.
Blinds and Position in Full Tilt’s Rush Poker
During your first hand of Rush Poker at Full Tilt, you will be responsible for posting the big blind. However, following that hand, the small blind and position will be assigned at random. The big blind will always be assigned to the player that has gone the longest amount of time without posting a blind. If multiple players have gone the same amount of time without posting a big blind, the posting of this blind will also be selected at random among the tied players in Rush Poker.
Reaction Times in Rush Poker at Full Tilt
In general, you have the same amount of time to make a decision during each hand of Rush Poker as you have in standard ring games. There are, however, two key exceptions:
1. Before the flop, your decision timer is shorter if it is your turn and there have been no raises before your turn. If someone has raised, the amount of time you have to make a decision will be the same.
2. Your time bank is reset at the commencement of each hand.
Rush Poker is only available at Full Tilt Poker and is already becoming a huge hit. Since the Rush Poker introduction, they have added Rush Poker Tournaments and other games, besides Holdem, like Omaha.
