Paradise Poker Room

Paradise Poker Review

Paradise poker started in 1999 and is one of the oldest online poker rooms in existence and their experience in the business shows. Paradise poker has excellent customer service and is one of the more reliable and consistent platforms for players. Recently purchased by Sporting Bet, this move has helped Paradise poker to continue offering the best service in the absence of the American market.

Player Base and Network
After being acquired by Sporting Bet, Paradise poker became part of the Boss media/International poker network. Unfortunately after pulling out of the US market, Paradise poker’s former independent network took a serious hit and the Boss network offered Paradise the best chance at a revived player base.

The Boss media network is not known for being the busiest network in the world but it does have one very big advantage and that is poor players. The amount of players seeing the flop at Paradise poker is higher than the average at most other online poker rooms. Beginners and experienced players alike will find this an inviting characteristic. Player traffic is fairly consistent but may not have the huge numbers that players might see on larger independent networks. Most of the action resides in limit and no limit Texas hold’em. Players can however find a good limit stud game if they are patient.
