Bovada Poker Bonus

Bovada Bonus Review – 100% Bonus Match bonus capped at $1000

New players in the Bovada Poker room are offered a bonus equivalent to 100% of their initial deposit, up to a maximum bonus amount of $1000.

One of the more unique aspects of this Bodog bonus is that the 10% portion of the bonus is instantly (or within about a half hour) available in your account, and as soon as you make your qualifying deposit, becomes a tangible part of your poker bankroll.

Clearing your Bovada Bonus

As you play poker at Bovada, you “clear” the additional portion of your bonus, the part that’s equal to 100% of that first deposit.  Every time you earn 10 Bovada Poker Points, also known as BPPs $1 of your bonus will be added into your cleared bonus account.

Bonus Money Credited within 30 Days

One of the not so hot aspects of the bonus is that cleared bonus money shows up in your player account in 30 days, not instantly. On the bright side of this condition, players have 30 days to clear their initial bonus before forfeiture.

Earn a Partial Bodog Bonus

Players do not have to clear their entire bonus to be eligible, for instance, lets say a player went for $500 bonus in addition to the initial 10% bonus, depositing $500. The player initially received the 10% bonus added into their bankroll in the first half hour after depositing, leaving $500 in bonus monies left to clear.

During the following 30 days the player earns 4500 Bpp’s, and therefore only clearing $450. That player will receive the $450 bonus, only forfeiting the remaining $50 in Bodog bonus money.

Obtaining the maximum Bonus

To get the most from the Bovada poker bonus, a player would make a $1000 deposit, using a link from this page, entitling anyone to the entire 100% bonus. After making the bonus, $100 in bonus money would immediately (or within a half hour) become a part of the players bankroll.

To clear the rest of the bonus, the player will need to earn 10,000 BPPs within the next thirty days.  To achieve this, the player should be earning about 334 BPPs on average per day.

Earning Points to Clear Bodog Bonuses

The minute you finish singing up for your new account as a Bovada player, your account is credited with fifty points free, just to get you on your way to clearing bonuses, entering tournaments, etc.  In addition to those 50 free Bovada Points, players earn points every time they play in a raked poker hand at any ring game table.

If the player contributed between .01 and .05 in rake, the player is credited with .01 points. For contributed rake amounts between a quarter and .45, the player is credited with ¼ of a point. Pots where the player contributes between fifty cents and .95 will earn the player ½ of a point. Pots where the player pays $1-$3 of the contributed rake, will earn the player one point.

Earning the Bonus with Poker Tournaments

3 points are also earned for every $1 spent in tournament fees, not the actual buy-in, but the fee that Bovada keeps. Additionally, Bovada pays players 1 point for every hour spent actively playing at a ring table, up to a maximum of 500 points per month. Sitting out doesn’t count though, so don’t waste your time there.
